Beach weather looks okay today with a mix of sun and cloud, with breezes increasing from the north-northeast at 15-20 mph. Rip current issues will increase through the middle of the week as the surf strengthens with an increase in swell from the northeast. Surfing conditions then become very dangerous by Wednesday as low pressure in the Atlantic approaches the region.
The rest of the week brings increasing breezes and a chance of rain by Thursday. Low pressure will move closer to Florida during this time and the exact position and ultimate track of the low will determine opportunities for rain and wind speed/direction. The chance of rain by Thursday and Friday stands at 40%, but that could change, so stay tuned for more details!
