Queensland couple sail on two-year-old Coral Princess cruise

Queensland Couple Jessica and Marty Ansen have embarked on a two-year back-to-back cruise on Princess Cruises’ Coral Princess, the first cruise ship to begin its cruising season after Australia’s cruise industry restarted.

“Cruising offers the ultimate vacation experience. You get on board, you only unpack once and you have all this amazing entertainment, amazing food, great company and you get to see the world. And the crew offers incredible service – that’s why we sail,” said Ansens.

The Ansens have completed 31 cruises and 1,173 days at sea with Princess. The couple will keep their life at sea and will go on two consecutive years of cruises, including two round the world cruises in 2023 and 2024.

Highlights of Coral Princess’ winter program include:

  • Six short cruises from Brisbane and Sydney – perfect ‘breakaways’ for those with busy schedules who need a short break.

  • Five 7-day return Queensland cruises departing from Brisbane, to Cairns, Port Douglas and Airlie Beach (for the Whitsundays).

  • A new 7-day round trip on the New South Wales coast from Brisbane, with first stops in Eden (Sapphire Coast), Sydney and Newcastle.

  • A new 12-day trip to Queensland and New South Wales, round trip from Brisbane.

  • A new 12-day voyage through Queensland and the Conflict Islands (return from Sydney or Brisbane) crossing the Coral Sea to visit the beautiful and remote Conflict Islands in Papua New Guinea.

Princess Cruises Senior Vice President for Asia-Pacific, UK and Europe, Stuart Allison, said he was delighted to welcome the Ansens aboard Coral Princess for another cruise.
